The University of Lübeck invites applications for a temporary professor position available at the ISNM. The appointed professor will be employed at the ISNM subject to individual private law contracts. The position at the ISNM is limited to 3 years; an extension for a further 3 years is possible. A full-time professor is required to teach 8 hours per week in addition to advising students on their project work and master theses. In addition to a high level of international professional expertise in research and teaching, we expect applicants to possess an interdisciplinary open-mindedness, as well as the ability to teach in English. Prerequisites for the position are a university degree and appropriate disciplinary qualifications. In general, this is shown by a Ph.D. and a post-doctoral lecturing qualification or equivalent achievements. Candidates should be able to establish externally funded projects and research programs.
W2 Professor Interaction Design
Position responsibilities include research and teaching in modeling and design of interactive multimedia systems and their user interfaces. Part time contracts are possible.
The position should be filled by Winter Semester 2007/08.
